If you are new to managing your finances, Wave is the best program to get you started. We set you up with everything you will need to get your finances organized including a spend account, debit card, and a mobile app to help you manage it all. Additionally, Wave will guide you through the entire process with easy-to-follow instructions. We also offer some nice bonus gifts along the way!
We get this question A LOT! Here are just a few reasons why you should choose a credit union over a bank.
You may need your account number (not your debit card number) to provide to your employer for direct deposit, or to pay certain bills – such as car insurance. What happens when you forget this number? If you happened to get checks when you opened your account, your account number will be listed on the bottom of the check. Otherwise, just give us a call or log in to online banking and Live Chat us and we will be happy to assist. Keep in mind – we will ask a few questions to confirm your identity before providing the information to you.
Lost your debit card? No need to panic. Hopefully, you've already downloaded Staley Card Central. If so, simply turn your card off as quickly as possible. Then, give us a call and we will order a new card for you.
Don't have Staley Card Central? We still have you covered. Just give us a call at 800-223-8356 and we will block your current card and order a new one.
Your deposit of $25 is your share of the credit union. It's what makes YOU a shareholder with Staley Credit Union. Don't worry, it's not a fee! It's still your money and if you should decide to leave us for any reason, you get your $25 back.
You can receive up to $100 in rewards just for completing the Wave steps, distributed as follows:
Opting to purchase something with your debit card results in the transaction showing up temporarily as "pending" on your spend account. The amount of time it takes for a debit transaction to clear varies, but usually isn't more than a couple days. Merchants usually request payment within one to three days after you use a debit card.
